Katie's Kittenz, Inc is an 501(c)3 nonprofit animal rescue organization founded in Virginia in 2021, and relocated to Oahu in 2022. We are a small volunteer-based grassroots organization seeking to reduce the feral cat population through adoption and TNR (trap, neuter, return), and thereby decrease the negative impact feral cats play on endangered species and local ecosystems. Since it's founding, Katie's Kittenz has rescued and rehabilitated hundreds of feral kittens and cats, and sterilized many more cats ineligible for adoption.

Katie's Kittenz, Inc seeks to educate the public through community involvement. Locally, our organization has collaborated with coral reef restoration efforts here on the West Side of O'ahu. We have also visited schools to host problem-solving seminars to help high school students come up with compassionate solutions to the problems in their communities. We have partnerships with Home Owner Association groups seeking humane solutions to stray cat problems in their neighborhoods, providing traps and manpower to help sterilize community cat colonies.  Additionally, we have developed partnerships with local family-run businesses such as pet stores and veterinary clinics to host events and create educational content emphasizing the importance of spaying and neutering pets.

Katie's Kittenz has a large online community of over 200,000 followers on Instagram, Tiktok, and Youtube. We create lots of fun and engaging content. The goal is always spreading awareness, education, and empowering people to get involved with animal rescue efforts in their own communities.

Cats and Wildlife: The mission of Katie's Kittenz, Inc is simple: we protect and advocate for those that cannot protect or advocate for themselves. We are committed to protecting not only the cats, but also the vulnerable native wildlife threatened by the presence of cats. 

Human Connection: While our first priority is, of course, the animals within our care, we also know that human connection and education is vital to any rescue effort. Katie's Kittenz, Inc believes that any organization promoting the welfare of animals should also promote the welfare of human beings. Compassion, kindness, and generosity are our guiding principles.
